notes from the outer world.

10pm and beyond, like a somewhat constant state of mind in ever-changing weeks. Somewhere between the houses, a car's slowly driving backward, emitting an all-penetrating beeping sound. There's distant thunder in dense clouds now, windows are being shut, some late passengers hurrying to get the bus that's already visible down the street. Asides this: Loads of open ends everywhere, and pondering the effects of conversations and stories shared with others on getting at least some of them tidied up. Then again, these moments between dusk and sleep most likely aren't the best of times of day to address things by first and foremost applying reason. Everything's challenging, given the desire to do it right. (And sometimes vague assumptions are the best to get hold of, just before day closes its chapter.)
