(A bit lost when it comes to self-hosting stuff and crossposting to “everywhere else”. After all: It’s a rather nice way of easily keeping ones stuff available to contacts everywhere else, but at the same time, especially looking at my own timelines at Bluesky or Nostr, it also seems to foster an odd “write-only” culture of some blogs, processes, … merely posting content over there in a one-way process as sort of a data “sink”. In best cases, comments on these posts will somehow be seen and responded to, but what is not likely to happen all too much is some of the people going down that route to interact with thoughts others initially shared over there. This feels a bit unsettling, maybe that particular perspective is too harsh, but I stumble across this every other day and have no real opinion on it…)
